Stop the Presses! FBHS Student Newspaper Returns 📰Last year, the new Journalism class revived The Pirate Post, the Fernandina Beach High School student newspaper. With funding from the Fernandina Beach High School Foundation, the newspaper issued six high-quality editions with articles covering clubs, sports, human interest features, school news, and opinions. According to AP English Literature and Journalism teacher Amy Sepesi, “Students on the newspaper staff gain hands-on training and practical experience in writing, editing, photography and design. Continued funding from the FBHS Foundation for the newspaper will not only support academic growth and career development, but it will also help our journalism students foster connections with their peers and school community members.” The FBHS Foundation is proud to have helped launch the new Pirate Post!To help us bridge the gap to champion academic excellence visit fbhsfoundation.org. #pirateadvantage #AcademicExcellence #Foundation #fundraising #education ...
